The footballer Arthur Gomes, who played for Sporting, was presented this Saturday with the reinforcements of the Brazilians from Cruzeiro, a team led by the Portuguese Pepa, with whom the striker signs a contract valid until December 2026.
“Welcome Arthur Gomes. The striker is the latest addition to the Cruzeiro team, with a contract until December 2026. May his path be successful, ”says the club in a statement posted on social networks, without disclosing the amounts involved in the business.
The 25-year-old Brazilian striker joined Sporting last season from Estoril Praia, and despite not starting for Ruben Amorim’s team, he played 38 games in different competitions, almost always as a substitute, with four goals scored.
Arthur Gomes was not included in the Lions’ plans for the new season and will continue his career in Brazil, with the team led by the Portuguese Pepa.
