Portugal is in the semifinals of the European Roller Hockey Championship after beating England 15-2 in the quarterfinals. In the next phase, the Portuguese team will face France, in a match scheduled for this Friday.
The best scorer of the match was João Rodrigues, with five goals. Rafa, Henrique Magalhães and João Souto scored twice, while Gonçalo Alves, Nuno Santos and Telmo Pinto scored the other goals. Jack Turner and Owen Norris scored for the English.
Portugal will again face France, who thrashed Switzerland 5-0 in the quarterfinals. In the group stage, the Portuguese team beat the French.
