The Cândido de Oliveira Super Cup, played this year by SL Benfica and FC Porto, will be played on August 9 at 8:45 p.m., the Portuguese Football Federation announced on Tuesday.
“The two finalists and the FPF agreed not to play the previous weekend due to the World Youth Days that take place in our country between August 1 and 6,” reads a statement issued this morning.
The match takes place at the Estádio Municipal de Aveiro and pits last season’s national champion against the winner of the Portuguese Cup.
