Spain thrashed in the last ten minutes of the game and beat Sweden 2-1, guaranteeing a place in the final of the Women’s Soccer World Cup on Tuesday, in Auckland, New Zealand.
The first goal was scored by Salma Paralluelo, who put the Spanish team ahead on 81′. The Swedish team still managed the tie, with a goal from striker Rebecka Blomqvist, but the team led by Jorge Vilda was quick to react.
Olga Carmona’s goal on goal in the 88th minute gave Spain a 2-1 lead and a ticket to the World Cup final.
