The Spanish minister also advanced that a complaint was filed with the Administrative Court of Sport and that, if the court accepted, the Executive would request the provisional suspension of the president of the Royal Spanish Football Federation.
“The Government has decided to file a complaint with the sports administrative court, describing this attitude as very serious. If the court accepts it, we will request the provisional suspension of the president of the Spanish Football Federation until there is a firm decision,” he concludes.
The leader ended up being suspended this Saturday, provisionally, by FIFA and prohibited from coming into contact with the player.
Since the incident, Rubiales has been the target of numerous criticisms from the most diverse sectors, from the head of the Government of Spain, Pedro Sánchez, to various public and political figures, including Jenni Hermoso herself, who, in a first phase, devalued The situation, but on Wednesday he turned to the Spanish soccer players union (FUTPRO) to request sanctions for Rubiales.
