The Portuguese women’s soccer team lost this Friday at home against France, 2-0, on the first day of Group 2 of the Nations League A.
In Valenciennes, Grace Geyoro (27 minutes) and Selma Bacha (89) gave the first three points to the French team, which is isolated at the head of the ‘group’, with two more points than Austria and Norway, who tied 1-1, while Portugal is at zero.
Only the best teams in each group will qualify for the ‘final four’ of the first edition of the women’s Nations League, of which two will qualify for the football tournament at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.
