Miguel Oliveira abandons the Japanese GP due to mechanical problems

The Portuguese rider Miguel Oliveira (Aprilia) abandoned the MotoGP Japanese Grand Prix this Sunday on lap 11 of 25 due to mechanical problems, when he was in sixth place.

The Portuguese driver, who started from 16th position, took advantage of the rain that fell this Sunday at the Motegi circuit to have a good race, finishing in fourth position and fighting for the podium.

However, on lap 11, Oliveira began to ride slower, about two seconds slower than the leader, the Spanish Jorge Martín (Ducati).

The race would be interrupted on the next lap due to poor weather conditions.
