The Argentine cyclist, who gave the Algarve team their third victory in this event, overtook Gonçalo Leaça (LA-Alumínios/Credibom/MarcosCar) and Gaspar Gonçalves (Efapel), who respectively completed the podium of the pedestrian race. .
Yellow jersey Mauricio Moreira (Glassdrive/Q8/Anicolor) arrived integrated into the peloton, 40 seconds later, but kept the lead of the race, with the same 28 seconds of his teammate António Carvalho, and 56 of Joaquim Silva (Efapel).
This Sunday is the last chance for Moreira’s rivals to attack the lead, in a 133.7-kilometre stage, starting in Maia and finishing in Vila Nova de Gaia.
