Three big players are playing at home in the fourth round of the Portuguese Cup

Benfica, FC Porto and Sporting will play at home in the fourth round of the Portuguese Football Cup, which will be determined this Wednesday by the draw in Cidade do Futebol, in Oeiras.

In a round scheduled for the weekend of November 25 and 26, the Dragons, holders of the trophy, and the Lions will face Montalegre and Dumiense respectively, two teams from the fourth tier, the Portuguese championship.

For its part, Benfica, the record holder for victories in the league (26 titles), still does not have a defined opponent, as they will receive the winner of the postponed match of the third round, the reception of Camacha, of the Portuguese Championship, to Famalicão, of the I League.

A possible clash between the ‘reds’ and the Famalicenses would be the fourth between teams from the I League, with the home matches of Vizela against Estrela da Amadora, Portimonense against Sporting de Braga and Arouca against Boavista already certain.

For its part, Atlético da Malveira, survivor of the district championships, will travel from the II League to the stronghold of União de Leiria.

The fourth round, scheduled for November 25 and 26, currently consists of 13 clubs from the I League, nine from the II League, one from League 3, seven from the Portuguese Championship and one from the districts.

Postponed is the third round clash between Camacha, of the Portuguese Championship, and Famalicão, of the I League, which was postponed until November 18 due to bad weather, which prevented the Famalicão team from traveling to Madeira.
