Play head to head. PSG 0-0 Benfica (1st half)

Benfica and Paris Saint-Germain meet again, this Tuesday, for the fourth round of Group H of the Champions League, in the French capital, where one of the teams can qualify for the round of 16, if they win. The other condition for this qualification has already been met, as Juventus did not score in the visit to Haifa: they lost 2-0.

The main novelty in Benfica’s team tonight is the entry of three midfielders -Enzo, Florentino and Aursnes- in the absence of David Neres. On the Parisian side there is no Messi, who marked Luz, Nuno Mendes and Renato Sanches, all of them out due to injury. And when the game started, the Schmidt puzzle could be put together: Aursnes appeared tonight defending down the left corridor, Enzo and Florentino played in the center and João Mário appeared on the line down the right flank. Opposite, practically side by side, Rafa and Gonçalo Ramos.

As in the last week, Benfica came face to face with the Parisians and ended up creating enough danger to see a penalty scored after 20 minutes by Hakimi’s hand on the ball. But, after aiming for the 11-metre mark, Michael Oliver was eventually warned by VAR for offside early in the game.

PSG eleven: Donnarumma, Hakimi, Ramos, Marquinhos, Danilo, Bernat, Verratti, Vitinha, Sarabia, Mbappé and Neymar.

Benfica’s eleven: Vlachodimos; Bah, António Silva, Otamendi and Grimaldo; Florentino, Enzo Fernández and Aursnes; Rafa, Gonçalo Ramos and João Mário.

The game is refereed by Englishman Michael Oliver. In the VAR there is also the Englishman Stuart Attwell.
