The Portuguese Professional Football League (LPFP) opened an investigation this Sunday to determine the reasons for the fall of a barrier, one of the railings, at the Oliveirense Stadium, causing three minor injuries.
“The Portuguese League informs that it will open an investigation process to determine the reasons that caused the fall of one of the railings that separates the bench from the playing field at the Carlos Osório Stadium, during the match between UD Oliveirense and UD Leiria, and that caused minor injuries to three fans,” indicated the LPFP.
After this incident, the League will have on Monday the technical inspection commission of the Carlos Osório Stadium, to evaluate the security conditions, which “must be validated before the next UD Oliveirense match takes place in the conditions visited.”
In the match, on the eighth day of the II Football League, União de Leiria won 4-1.
