About 300 Antwerp fans caused disturbances in the center of Porto on Monday evening, ahead of Tuesday’s Champions League match at FC Porto’s home ground, a PSP source told Lusa.
A source from the PSP Porto Metropolitan Command said authorities were monitoring the situation to find out what happened.
The disturbances took place in the river area, where approximately 300 fans of the Belgian club gathered, according to the same source.

So far, the PSP has not said what damage was caused or whether any arrests have been made.
Porto’s PSP Metropolitan Command also said it has the device on site to monitor Belgian fans, a situation that will continue throughout the night and until the fourth round of the Champions League.
The ‘blue and white’ will face Antwerp today from 8 p.m. at Estádio do Dragão, in Porto, for the fourth round of Group H of the Champions League, a few hours after the match between Shakhtar Donetsk and FC Barcelona, in Hamburg.
FC Porto, winners of the competition in 1986/87 and 2003/04, are in second place in the ‘pool’, with six points, against nine of the Spaniards, who remain isolated in the lead, while the Ukrainians are in third place occupy with three, and Antwerp is last, without points.
