The report and accounts of FC Porto corresponding to the 2022/2023 sporting season, whose final balance was negative 47.6 million euros, have been approved this Thursday by the members of the ‘dragons’ in a General Assembly (GA) ordinary.
The main assembly of the ‘blue and white’ shield dictated the approval of 434 deputies (a favorable rate of approximately 53%), 187 votes against and 198 abstentions, in a universe of 819 deputies, despite the strong criticism of André Villas-Boas . putative candidate for the presidency of Porto, with regard to the remuneration policy of the SAD bodies.
The results of the report and the individual and consolidated accounts, presented by the financial administrator Fernando Gomes – and submitted to a single joint vote – had already been ratified by the shareholders of the SAD on November 23, to which is now added the approval of the associative mass.
The meeting featured interventions, among others, by André Villas-Boas, Nuno Lobo, supposed presidential candidate, Angelino Ferreira, former administrator of the ‘blue and white’ SAD, and Fernando Madureira, leader of the Super Dragões entertainer.
The event took place at the Dragão Arena, given the expected large attendance and incidents of violence that marked the recent extraordinary General Assembly to approve new statutes, and began at 9 p.m. on Wednesday and lasted until dawn the next day.
