FC Porto qualified this Wednesday for the Youth League Round of 16 soccer, to prevail 2-0 against Shakhtar Donetskwinning Group H of the competition that replicates the Champions League model.
Porto, who needed to beat the Ukrainians on the sixth and final matchday to ensure a direct presence in the round of 16, translated their superiority over the visitors into goals only in the second half, through striker Anhá Candé, in the minute 47., and midfielder Rodrigo Mora, at 62.
The two FC Porto players, who won the trophy in 2019, join the Danish Amin Chiakha (Copenhagen) and the Dutchman Yannick Eduardo (Leipzig) at the top of the list of best scorers in the competitionall with five goals scored.

FC Porto won the group, despite having finished equal on points with second-placed FC Barcelona, due to having an advantage in the direct confrontation (2-0 defeat, at home, and 4-0 defeat, away ), relegating Españoles to the play-off for access to the round of 16.
The ‘dragons’ were forced to beat Shakhtar Donetsk to finish firstsince the Catalan team had won 3-0 against the Belgian Antwerp, which finished in last place, without scoringbehind the Ukrainian team, third placed.
