Paris Saint-Germain won 3-0 today visiting Nantes with a goal from Portuguese Nuno Mendes and remain at the top of the French football league, with the same 16 points as Marseille.

French international Mbappe gave the outsiders the lead with goals in the 18th and 54th minutes and equaled Brazilian teammate Neymar as the top scorer in the French league with seven goals.

Portuguese Nuno Mendes set the final result at 68, with Nantes (10th) playing with one less player since his 24th due to the eviction of Brazilian Fábio.

At Paris Saint-Germain, Benfica’s Champions League opponents Portuguese Danilo and Vitinha were the starters, the latter being replaced by injury and making way for Renato Sanches, 34, while Mendes took the place of Spaniard Bernat, 34-47.

Previously, Sporting’s opponent in the Champions League, Marseille had won the visit to Auxerre (ninth) 2-0, while Portugal’s Nuno Tavares played in the second half thanks to goals from Gerson and Sanchez, after eight and 84 minutes respectively.

Lyon, with Portuguese goalkeeper Anthony Lopes as the starter, defeated the 19th Angers 5-0 with a ‘bis’ from Cameroon striker Toko Ekambi, in the 31st and 59th minutes, alongside goals from Lacazette (38), Lukeba (62) and Dembele (88).

The standings are led by champions Paris Saint-Germain, with the same 16 points as Marseille, three more than Lyon and Lens, although these two teams have one game less.
