The pilot Armindo Neves passed away this morning during the second stage of the Africa Eco Race, a race that follows in the footsteps of the old Dakar, confirmed the TSF with the pilot’s agent.
The 52-year-old pilot did not resist an accident at the end of the stage that linked Bousaid, in Tunisia, and Tagounite, in Morocco.
The Portuguese stood out by winning, in 2019, the national veterans trophy in the national off-road championship.
