Benfica can guarantee access to the round of 16 of the Football Champions League by hosting the Italians Juventus, who are bound to win at the Estádio da Luz, in the fifth round of Group H.
A victory automatically leaves the Reds with a guaranteed place in the next phase of the Champions League, although a draw could also serve if, in the other round of the group, Maccabi Haifa cannot beat Paris Saint-Germain in France.
On the Italian side, the Argentine Di María, a former Benfica player, will have to miss his return to Luz due to physical problems.
