Portugal performs the last training session against Nigeria with doubts

This Wednesday, the Portuguese soccer team will carry out the last training session before the match against Nigeria, the only preparation for the World Cup, and it remains to be seen if goalkeeper Diogo Costa will be available for the session.

The FC Porto goalkeeper missed the two training sessions already carried out by the “quinas” team, due to muscular problems, having also been the only one absent from Tuesday’s session, in which Fernando Santos already had 25 of the 26 athletes called up for the 2022 World Cup.

The match in Cidade do Futebol is scheduled for 5:30 p.m., with the first 15 minutes open to journalists, before that, at 4:30 p.m., the coach and a player to be designated will speak at a press conference.

The preparation match between Portugal and Nigeria, in charge of José Peseiro, is scheduled for Thursday, at 18:45, at the Estádio José Alvalade, in Lisbon.

On Friday, the Portuguese delegation will leave for Qatar, with its scheduled debut in Group H of the 2022 World Cup for November 24, against Ghana, before facing Uruguay, on the 28th, and South Korea, led by Paulo Bento, on December 2.

The 22nd edition of the World Cup starts on Sunday, with the duel between the host Qatar and Ecuador, for group A, and ends on December 18.
