In a match played at the Estágios do Seixal Center, the Canadian international’s goal allowed Benfica to achieve the second victory in its history in the group stage of the championsafter last season, in his debut in this competition, having won 2-1 at home against Hacken, also from Sweden.
With this result, Benfica rose to third place in the group, with three points, relegating Rosengard to fourth and last place, with no points.
Barcelona, who beat Bayern Munich 3-0 today, lead with nine points, while the Germans are second with six.
