Australia achieved its first victory in Group D of the 2022 World Cup this Saturday, by beating Tunisia 1-0, on the second day of Group D, played in Al Wakrah.
A goal by Mitchell Duke, forward of the Japanese club Fagiano Okayama, sealed, in the 23rd minute, the victory of the Oceania team, which seeks, in its sixth appearance, to reach the round of 16 for the second time, repeating 2006.
In qualifying, Australia equaled France’s three points, while the Tunisians continue with one, just like Denmark, which faces the French champions today, starting at 4:00 p.m. (in Lisbon).
