Morocco rose to the leadership of Group F of the 2022 World Cup this Sunday, by beating Belgium, third four years ago, 2-0, in a match on the second day of Group F, played in Doha.
Substitutes Abdelhamid Sabiri, in minute 73, and Zakaria Abouhlal, in 90+2, sealed the victory for the Moroccans, who are still in the race to repeat their unprecedented presence in the 1986 round of 16.
The African team already has four points, against three for the Belgians, one for Croatia and none for Canada, and this Sunday, the runners-up face the Canadians.
