The Swiss team beat Serbia this Friday, 3-2, and stamped the last passport available for the round of 16 of the 2022 World Cup, where they will face Portugal. In the other group G match, Brazil lost 1-0 to Cameroon, but even so, the Canarinhos kept first place and, in the next phase, they have South Korea waiting for them.
On the third day of Group F, Xherdan Shaqiri, in minute 20, Breel Embolo, in minute 44, and Remo Freuler, in minute 48, scored the goals for the Swiss, while Aleksandar Mitrovic, in minute 26, Dusan Vlahovic, in the 35th minute, he scored for the Serbs.
For his part, the former Porto player Vincent Aboubakar scored, at minute 90+1, the winning goal for the Africans, and ended up sent off, due to accumulation of yellow cards, after the celebrations, at 90+3.
In qualifying, Brazil added seven points, against six for the Swiss, four for the Cameroonians and one for the Serbs.
