This Thursday, the Portuguese swimmers Gabriel Lopes and Camila Rebelo each achieved two victories in the San Sebastián Christmas Tournament, in Spain, ratifying the favoritism that was indicated to them before the start of the competition.
The two Portuguese swimmers prevailed in the 50 meter backstroke, with Camila Rebelo swimming the distance in 29.28 seconds and Gabriel Lopes in 25.71.
In the 100 backstroke, Rebelo won again, after 1:02.49 minutes, and Lopes added another victory, in the 200 medley, with a time of 2:01.31.
This was the 40th edition of the traditional Basque swimming ‘meeting’, closing the year in Spain with marks still far from the best for the national duo, in a competition that is part of the European League.
