Thai Formula 1 driver Alexander Albon has already left the Intensive Care Unit of the San Gerardo hospital in Italy, where he was transferred on Saturday after acute appendicitis.
The Thai-born pilot underwent emergency surgery on Saturday, but suffered post-operative complications due to the anaesthesia, causing him to have difficulty breathing.
According to information released by the British team itself, Albon was intubated and placed with assisted breathing in the Intensive Care Unit, from where he has since left, having been hospitalized for observation.

According to the Thai rider’s team, Albon is expected to be discharged on Tuesday to complete his recovery in time to take part in the next race, the 17th of the season, which takes place in Singapore on October 2.
Albon was replaced by Dutchman Nyck de Vries at the Italian GP, which took place at Monza on Sunday.
De Vries finished his debut race in ninth position, scoring two more points for Williams, overtaking Canadian team-mate Nicholas Latifi in the championship, with a performance that earned him the ‘driver of the day’ award.
Latifi has yet to score any points in the 16 races he has contested.
The race was won by the Dutchman Max Verstappen (Red Bull), who took his fifth consecutive victory, his 11th of the season, and could win his second consecutive title in the next race.
