After making his debut last Tuesday at Borussia Dortmund, who signed him from Ajax in the summer -but had to wait for the striker to recover after being diagnosed with a malignant tumor-, playing a few minutes, Haller was just discharged this Friday after the break against Basel, in a match played in Marbella, Spain, where the German team is training.
And it took him just eight minutes to score a hat-trick, scoring on minutes 81, 86 and 88, in the 6-0 win against the Swiss by the Germans, who are sixth in the Bundesliga after 15 games, with 25 points. .
On July 18, 2022, the footballer was diagnosed with a malignant tumor in a testicle, not making his official debut at Borussia Dortmund, in which he plays for the Portuguese Raphaël Guerreiro, a club that, in the summer, paid Ajax 30 million to ensure progress.
