Ukrainian international Mykhailo Mudryk will represent Chelsea for the next eight and a half years after being signed by Shakhtar Donetsk, the Premier League club said on Sunday.
“Mykhailo Mudryk has finalized the transfer from Shakhtar Donetsk to Chelsea after reaching a personal agreement with the club. The Ukraine international, who turned 22 earlier this month, signed an eight-and-a-half-year contract with the Blues to seal his transfer to Stamford Bridge”, communicated the London emblem, on the official website.
The ‘blues’ did not reveal the amounts involved in the operation, but the international press points out that the transfer to England is around 100 million euros (ME).
In statements reproduced by Chelsea, Mudryk speaks of a “very attractive project” for this stage of his career, after having only competed in Ukraine.
