The Benfica coach announced at the end of the match with Arouca that the deal between Chelsea and Benfica for the transfer of Enzo Fernández is closed.
“We said the deal is done. It’s part of football,” Roger Schmidt told SportTV in the flash interview, asked if he had spoken to Rui Costa about the midfielder’s departure.
“Benfica is much bigger than a player. We only need players who are happy to play for Benfica, who have passion”, continued the coach.
