Sporting Clube de Portugal’s official website has been the target of a computer attack, a source of the leonine emblem confirms to DN.
“Sporting Clube de Portugal informs that there is a DDoS (Distributed Denial of Service) computer attack on the sporting.pt website,” reports the club Alvalade.
“This type of distributed denial-of-service attack consists of sending excessive requests from several compromised computers, overloading the target servers, and can even lead to the total unavailability of the service,” explains a source in green and white , who says that “everything is being done to resolve the situation and restore normalcy to the site”.
When accessing the portal you can read “Internal Server Error”
The club’s social media were not affected.
