Ronaldo had missed his first two games for Al Nassr, against Al Ettifaq (1-0) for the championship and against Al Ittihad from Nuno Espírito Santo in the semi-finals of the Super Cup (1-3).
Al Nassr leads the Saudi league with 34 points from 15 games. Al Shabab has the same points, but has already played one game more.
