The coach Rúben Amorim revealed this Sunday that Sporting will face Rio Ave with “Nuno Santos and 10 more”, despite being at risk for the I Liga soccer match against FC Porto.
The lions’ winger will be out of the classic for the next round if he sees a yellow card on his trip to Vila do Conde on Monday, but the coach recalled that the visit to Rio Ave is “the most important game” right now. and guaranteed that “there will be no savings.”
“We are going to play with everything, obviously. The forward is important not to say, for the [Luís] Freire [treinador do Rio Ave] I don’t know, but it’s Nuno Santos and 10 others. This is clearly the most important game and, therefore, the game is going to start”, revealed the coach, at a press conference, at the Alcochete Academy.
Amorim introduced the question of the forward in the answer because, before, he had already hidden the game from his opponent, when he was asked if he would bet on the young Chermiti again or opt for a more mobile attack.
