The referee Artur Soares Dias was chosen to direct the derby next Sunday, which will face Sporting and FC Porto in Alvalade.
The 43-year-old referee, from the Porto Football Association, has already participated this season in FC Porto 4-1 SC Braga and Benfica 2-2 Sporting, both for the Primeira Liga.
Luís Godinho, from the Lisbon Football Association, will take the place of VAR in the game that is scheduled for 6:00 p.m.
