Sporting de Braga qualified for the semi-finals of the Portuguese Football Cup for the 19th time this Thursday by beating Benfica 5-4 on penalties after drawing 1-1 at the end of extra time.

In the other semi-final FC Porto, holder of the trophy, will face Famalicão, who defeated Académico de Viseu and BSAD respectively on Wednesday.
