The president of the French Football Federation, Noel Le Graet, submitted his resignation on Tuesday.
Le Graet, 81, was being accused several weeks ago of cases of sexual and psychological harassment by a woman, a soccer coach
The French soccer leader was also questioned because, in an interview broadcast in January, he made disparaging comments about the possibility of Zinedine Zidane succeeding Didier Deschamps as France coach.
