Achraf Hakimi, Morocco international and PSG teammate of Portuguese Nuno Mendes, Danilo, Vitinha and Renato Sanches, was formally charged with rape. The defender was even heard by the authorities on Thursday.
After an investigation was opened following a woman’s complaint published a few days ago by the newspaper Le Parisien, an investigating judge charged the defender of Paris Saint-Germain and placed him under judicial supervision.
Initially, despite going to the police station where he told his version, the alleged victim did not want to file a complaint. But the Public Prosecutor decided to open an investigation.
The case will have taken place on January 25. The woman reportedly went to the PSG player’s home and was allegedly sexually assaulted, after later messaging a friend to pick her up at the venue.
PSG have shown all their support for the player and assured that the player is calm. The defense attorney has already ruled that the allegations are false.
