The German Tobias Stieler is the referee of the match between Sporting and Arsenal, in the first leg of the round of 16 of the Europa League, which will be played this Thursday, UEFA reported on Tuesday.
Stieler, 41, an international referee since 2014, will have Christian Gittelmann and Mark Borsch as assistants, while the video referee will also be the German Bastian Dankert, assisted by Sören Storks.
Sporting-Arsenal will be played at the Estádio José Alvalade and will begin at 5:45 p.m., with the second leg of the tie scheduled for next week, on March 16, in a match to be played at the Emirates Stadium (8:00 p.m. ), in London
