Quinta dos Lombos won its third Women’s Basketball Cup this Sunday, defeating Benfica 53-51 in the final, played in Maia.
In a match disputed point by point, Quinta dos Lombos, who had already won 30-27 at half-time, ended up winning, against a team that was chasing its third consecutive trophy.
In terms of history, CIF and CAB Madeira remain the teams with the most titles, both with seven wins, while Quinta dos Lombos is now in the ninth batch, with three titles, and Benfica in the 14th, with two.
