This Friday, FC Porto managed to inflict the second defeat on the championship leaders, Benfica, in the I Liga and the first at the Estádio da Luz, in Lisbon, by winning the 27th matchday derby 2-1.
The first goal of the afternoon was scored by goalkeeper Diogo Costa, an own goal, after a header from Gonçalo Ramos.
FC Porto reached the tie in a play that started in Grujic, went through Manafá and saw Pepê invent a pass with his chest. The ball fell to Uribe who, unmarked, finished off powerfully to make it 1-1.
The goal that sealed Porto’s victory was scored on 54′, by Taremi, when the Iranian shot low and placed from the entrance to the penalty area.
With this result, FC Porto reduces to seven points the disadvantage it has against Benfica, which adds 71.
