Despite the goals from Ronaldo (minutes 37) and Kewin Silva (75, an own goal) for the ‘tricolores’, the canons responded with goals from Alan (59 and 62), Kodisang (90) and Platiny (90+5) , ensuring promotion and the title of champion with three rounds to go, adding 70 points compared to 59 for the Lisbon team, who occupy second place.
Champions of the II Liga for the third time in its history, after 2001/02 and 2013/14, the Minho team will participate in the I Liga in 2023/24, which will be the 13th presence of the club from Moreira de Cónegos in the main division of Portuguese football.
For its part, Estrela da Amadora continues in the fight to return to coexistence among the ‘greats’, but this Sunday it could lose second place in the II Liga, if Farense, third, in play-off position, with two points less, victory against FC Porto B.
