Soccer player Lionel Messi returned to training at Paris Saint-Germain on Monday, six days after being suspended by the club for a trip to Saudi Arabia without the consent of the French champion.
“Leo Messi returned to training this morning,” the club reported on its Twitter social network account, in a message accompanied by a photo of the Argentine player with the ball in training.

The club opened a disciplinary procedure on Tuesday of last week, after Messi was absent from training the day before, after the defeat against Lorient (3-1), in the championship, and was seen in Saudi Arabia.
The world champion player from Argentina would have traveled to Saudi Arabia, under a contract with the tourism office of that country and for not knowing, as he later justified, that there would be training last Monday.
“First I want to apologize to my teammates and the club. Honestly, I thought we were going to have a day off after the game, as it happened in previous weeks,” Messi said in a video posted on social media.
Messi, who is in his second season at Paris Saint-Germain and is at the end of his contract, should not, according to the press, continue to be linked to the French champion.
PSG, which leads the championship, with six points more than Lens, with four games to go, has the Portuguese Nuno Mendes, Danilo Pereira, Renato Sanches and Vitinha.
