With the defeat of Estrela, the mistake of a goal by the Colombian Pipe Gómez, in the 81st minute, the Algarve, who won 1-0 on Friday in Seixal, secured Benfica B second place, with six points more (66 against 60) than the amateurs, with one round to go.
Farense joins the rise to champion Moreirense, while the team led by Sérgio Vieira, third, will compete in the play out promotion / maintenance with Marítimo, 16th in the I Liga, in matches scheduled for June 3 and 11, the second in Funchal.
Estrela da Amadora was the last in the I League in 2008/09 and has since been dissolved and re-established, while Marítimo has been with the ‘greats’ for the 38th consecutive season since the 1985/86 season.
As for Nacional, it kept its 15th place and guaranteed that it will not be relegated directly, adding 36 points, against 34 for BSAD, which remains in 16th place, to access the maintenance play-off, 32 from Trofense , 17th and penultimate, and 28th through the red light and already relegated Sporting da Covilhã.
