Paris Saint-Germain announced this Friday the departure of Spanish international footballer Sergio Ramos, 37, after two seasons with the French emblem.
“Paris Saint-Germain welcomes Sergio Ramos, who is about to leave the capital after two seasons defending the club’s colors”reads the communiqué of the two-time French champion.
World champion and twice champion of Europe for the Spanish national team, four-time winner of the Champions League, with the Real Madrid jersey, added to his history two championship titles in France (2021/22 and 2022/23).
“We would like to say a huge thank you to Sergio Ramos for the two years he spent with us”said club president Nasser Al-Khelaïfi, quoted in the same statement.
In the two seasons with the Parisians, Ramos played in 57 games and said goodbye to the Parc des Princes reception in Clermont this Saturday for the 38th and final matchday of Ligue 1.
