Seven supporters arrested and 12 identified in Jamor

This Sunday, the Public Security Police (PSP) arrested seven fans and identified another 12 as part of the security plan for the final of the Portuguese Soccer Cup, played at the Estádio Nacional, in Oeiras, which was won by FC Porto.

Of the seven detainees, four were for resistance and coercion, one of whom was also in possession of a prohibited weapon, and the other three for possession of narcotics, an official source from that police force revealed to the Portuguese news agency.

The PSP also identified 12 supporters for possession and explosion of fireworks.

The same source also revealed that the PSP acted in some more tense situations between supporters, but that they were “remedied” immediately.

FC Porto won the 19th Portuguese Cup in its history after beating Sporting Braga 2-0, with an own goal by André Horta (minute 53) and a goal by Otávio (81).
