Miguel Oliveira laments the loss of time in the sprint race due to injury

The Portuguese pilot Miguel Oliveira (Aprilia) regretted this Saturday having lost some time handling the motorcycle during the sprint race of the MotoGP Italian Grand Prix, sixth race of the season, due to a left shoulder injury .

In statements released by the RNF team, in which he participates, Miguel Oliveira admitted that he felt “some weakness” in his shoulder and that “he had no strength at the end, nor resistance.”

“It was very difficult for me to steer the bike from left to right and that’s where I lost most of the time”, explains the rider born in Almada.

Even so, Miguel Oliveira acknowledges that it is already “a great victory” to be “running”.

The Portuguese rider finished the sprint race this Saturday in 12th position, after starting from 18th on the grid.

“[Fazer] Morning qualifying was a bit mixed. I was unable to make the most of the fastest lap due to a yellow flag situation on the second run. We still have a lot of work to do tomorrow. [domingo] and I hope we can improve”, concluded Oliveira.
