This Sunday, Sporting tied the final of the National Rink Hockey Championship, beating Benfica 6-3 at home, in the second game of the decisive phase, played at the Pavilhão João Rocha, in Lisbon.
The ‘lions’, who lost the first game in Luz 4-2, after extra time, already won 6-1 at half-time and took the lead in the second half, taking the final tie in the third game, scheduled for the Wednesday, in the house of the ‘eagles’.
Benfica, which was the last champion in 2015/16, can equal the 24 titles of record holder FC Porto, while Sporting seeks the tenth scepter and the third in six years, after being champions for the last time in 2020/21.
