The kitten intended for the family of the Nanterre police officer, currently in pretrial detention, will not be blocked by the collection platform, GoFundMe, which “complies” with the conditions of use, the site tells Tech&Co.
Failing to finance legal costs
The question of a possible cancellation arose since GoFundMe is authorized, according to its conditions of use, to block any collection that could be related to incitement to violence.
The kittens whose funds will be used for the legal defense of a violent crime or pages that contain hate speech are not authorized and will be removed, the platform also underlines.
French law is less restrictive, although open to the interpretations of the judge: it prohibits any subscription to pay the fines, costs and damages pronounced by judicial sentences.
