Holidays are generally synonymous with freedom and escape. However, the language barrier can be a big obstacle when traveling abroad and not speaking the language of the country visited.
In this context, Google Lens can be an ally of the circumstances during your adventures outside of France. A true polyglot, the program developed by the American technology giant is capable of translating more than 100 languages in real time. The icing on the cake: you don’t need to be connected to the Internet to enjoy it. You just need to upload your preferred language to translate offline. These are the steps to follow.
- Open Google Chrome and on the home page, click on the camera on the right in the search bar. Select “Translate” from the menu at the bottom of the screen and then point the smartphone lens at the words you want to translate
- Tap the button at the bottom of the screen to take a photo and save an image of the translation
You can also go through the Google Lens application or the Google Translation application that allows you to make a translation in real time by filming a text.
