Promised thing due thing. The American YouTuber MrBeast, who has the most subscribers in the world on the video platform, made a donation of 23,192 euros to 30 Million Friends. The foundation, which works for the animal cause, confirmed having received the payment on Monday.
In reality, the sum is the result of a challenge undoubtedly won by the Frenchman Arkunir, particularly gifted at mobilizing his community on X (ex-Twitter). During July, MrBeast promised to donate all the income he was going to generate on the social network during the month of August to whoever got the most “likes” in response.
In this little game, Arkunir is unbeatable and, responding with a simple point, garnered more than 500,000 likes, beating controversial influencer Andrew Tate in particular. Therefore, on Saturday, the French received confirmation from MrBeast that he was indeed the big winner. Therefore, the sum was transferred to 30 Million Friends, as promised by Arkunir.
At X, Arkunir has become a reference in the French-speaking community, becoming famous especially for his “ratios”, which consist of getting more “likes” on a reply than on the original tweet. After having a “ratio” with Emmanuel Macron, he realized the same thing last year with Elon Musk, who later deleted his message.
