“It’s an open secret, but I prefer to say it now.” For his return to Twitch, the streamer ZeratoR held a live where he made no less than twelve announcements. The main one is that ZEvent, the charity marathon he created in 2016, will not be organized in 2023.
Installed in a completely new environment, Adrien Nougaret (his real name) indicated that he is “currently working on the future of ZEvent.” Thus, at the end of September “a big update” will be made, after several periodic meetings on the subject.
A “very likely” return in 2024
As already mentioned in the last edition, the charity event must adopt a new formula. The teams around the project want to create a more intimate meeting after seeing the system grow enormously. The last edition raised more than 10 million euros for several associations dedicated to climate.
However, Adrien Nougaret reassured the nearly 14,000 people present to follow Twitch live. He confirmed several times that the event would go ahead and return. Furthermore, according to him, a 2024 edition is “very likely.”
Among other announcements, the content creator talked about his installation at the venue, the release of his album during the summer and the creation of a new clothing store. ZeratoR presented the new composition of its Valorant esports team to participate in the French shooting games cup.
