Known for its high-end Momemtum 4 headphones, Sennheiser now offers its audio talents in a more affordable version. Accentum Wireless is announced and with it the desire to offer comfortable wireless headphones, with long battery life and undeniable sound quality.
While it’s less premium in terms of design than its Momemtum 4 companion, it’s extremely comfortable with its padded plastic headband and faux leather ear pads. The plastic earbuds feature volume, power, and Bluetooth 5.2 pairing buttons, as well as a USB-C charging port.
The good news comes from its multipoint connectivity that allows it to connect to two devices in parallel and the user to switch between them without problems.
Up to 50 hours of battery life
Accentum features an extended battery life of up to 50 hours of listening time per charge, with a fast charge to recover 5 hours of listening time in 10 minutes. But it doesn’t skimp on audio quality with 37mm drivers that will allow you to enjoy a wide audio experience. The Sennheiser sonic footprint is there with deep bass without being too overpowering and a detailed and clear sound. The headphones support aptX HD, AAC and SBC codecs.
Accentum offers Hybrid Active Noise Canceling technology that adapts or returns to Transparency mode. The two built-in microphones also reduce wind noise (from the app), which is very useful, especially on calls. The ANC is quality and helps eliminate ambient noise. The app is an ideal companion for fine-tuning sound with its 5-band equalizer settings and multiple functions.
With a very competitive price and excellent audio quality and true comfort of use, Accentum presents itself as a less expensive alternative to the excellent Momemtum family. The only downside for those who may be concerned: the headband may seem a little narrow for larger heads.
