While the updates are supposed to bring new features or fix security issues, it is not recommended to install the latest version of Windows 11. Called KB5043145, it should be optional, but it is installed automatically on some computers, the Windows Latest site reports.
Users who have voluntarily or unintentionally installed this update have faced several issues, starting with a blue or green screen of death. Others were unable to boot their computer, which was stuck in a boot loop before entering recovery mode to repair or roll back the update in question.

Among other problems encountered, users could no longer connect to WiFi. In some cases, the update also affected the USB ports, preventing the use of the keyboard and mouse.
According to Windows Latest, the Asus TUF A15 and ROG Strix G17 gaming computers are particularly affected by these issues. On the US site, Microsoft indicated that it was aware of these issues and was investigating user reports.
Meanwhile, people whose computer automatically enters recovery mode will just have to follow the steps offered by Windows to uninstall the update. Otherwise, it is advisable to restart your computer and press F11 (or F9 or F12 depending on the brand of PC) several times during startup to access the recovery options.
From there, users will be able to select “Troubleshoot,” then “Advanced Options,” “Uninstall Updates,” and “Uninstall the Latest Quality Update.” They will then be asked to restart their PC.
